Craig Alexander joined Pearson in 2015 and is accountable for the successful end-to-end production of our Higher Education and other courseware across all formats and product models including print, eBooks, rich media, simulations/games, current generation supplemental, and next generation integrated digital including AR/VR, as well as oversight of Pearson rights & permissions, courseware quality assurance, and global content solutions. This 430+ employee organization currently produces over 2000 PC/ mobile software and print titles across multiple Pearson geographic locations from California to the UK augmented by thousands of vendors and freelancers around the world.
Craig brings a wealth of experience in managing large teams and building engaging digital products and bringing them to market at a global scale. He joined Pearson from Warner Bros, where he was VP of Product Development for their Turbine studio’s massively multiplayer online gaming franchises, including The Lord of the Rings Online. Craig previously held senior roles at Activision, Electronic Arts (EA), and Sierra On-Line where he produced a number of fantasy, science fiction, and superhero titles. At Sierra, Craig developed both education and entertainment software products.
During and after his studies, Craig worked as a Computer Architect at TRW Space and Technology, building microprocessors and NASA spacecraft.
Craig graduated from USC with a BS in Electrical Engineering and UCLA with an MBA from the Anderson Graduate School of Management. He also attended Occidental College in Los Angeles.
