As the Vice President of Marketing at Cricket Media, a children’s media company, Sarita oversees and institutes the brand vision and positioning across the disciplines of marketing which include content, digital, publicity, advertising and partnerships.
Her experience stretches across business and consumer, national and international, and for profit and nonprofit organizations. Most recently, Sarita led marketing and communications as the Chief Communications Officer at Digital Promise and led brand strategy at The Nature Conservancy. In addition, she oversaw the Nature Rocks, an online platform designed to engage parents and their families with nature. Sarita has also held marketing positions at blue chip marketing organizations such as PBS, Accenture, The Walt Disney Company, and Mattel Europe. She began her career in advertising where she worked at different agencies including Arnold, Burrell, and Ogilvy & Mather.
She received her master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern, with a double major in Economics and Communication Studies. She enjoys reading, running, traveling and eating! In her spare time, Sarita can be found hanging out with her family in Arlington, Virginia.
